Our Premier Butyl Leak Barrier (formerly known as FT Synthetics Platinum HT-B) is a high temperature, self-adhered leak barrier that helps protect against leaks caused by wind-driven rain and ice dams. It features our patented GripSpot™ technology for traction and a high-performance butyl adhesive backing.

1 Values stated are approximate and subject to normal manufacturing variation. These values are not guaranteed and are provided solely as a guide.

2 180-day UV resistance is based on testing conducted under controlled laboratory conditions. Premier Butyl Leak Barrier should be covered by a primary roof covering as soon as possible and no more than 180 days after installation.

3 Premier Butyl Leak Barrier can be applied at temperatures between 10F 140F (-12.2 °C 60C) provided that the product has been stored in a heated area to ensure it is between 50°F 100°F (10°C 37.7°C) at time of installation.

4 Lifetime refers to the length of warranty coverage provided and means as long as the original individual owner(s) of a single family detached residence owns the property where the qualifying product is installed.
